Moon are from Glasgow, Scotland. They record, produce and distribute their music on their own small label called Moonsounds.

Formed in 1999 they combine many different styles of music ranging from blues, groove, folk, rock, pop, triphop and reggae. And lots more.

In their short time together, they've been compared to Dido, Moloko, Crowded House, Air, Zero 7 and Moby.

Their debut album, Moonmagic, was released in June 2000 and received rave reviews in the press. It also received a lot of radio airplay and sold out several times in the few shops it was available in. They were even made band of the week on one national radio station".

They recently signed a license deal with MTV show, Real World, which means that the world will get to hear the entire first album during the new series.
